Olympic Torch Run and Assembly with Athlete Scott Davis:

We've begun our own Olympics during our Gym class. Yesterday we went outside to make a snowman. We had to work in our group of five to make the snowman and then our goal was to throw a hoola hoop over the snowman. It was a lot of fun! Hopefully we will all earn a medal by the end of the Olympics!

Demonstrating Leadership Skills: I like to see children take on initiatives such as the one that was presented today by Rhys and Caleb. They worked together to write up a challenge to the school. They challenged the school to build 100 snowman over the lunch hour. They spoke over the school intercom to present their challenge.
I did my best to take a picture of the snowmen (but white on white!).
