Teacher Message: Thank you to all parents and students for taking the time to interview a Grandparent and finding that special artifact that tell about your family.
ALL ARTIFACTS WILL GO HOME TOMORROW.
Today your child brought home an invitation to the Mural/Spring Dance. If you did not receive it please write a note in your child's agenda and we will send one home tomorrow.
IMPORTANT - WE ARE TRYING TO CREATE WRITING GOALS. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ABOUT 3/4 OF THE CLASSES HOMEWORK REGARDING SENTENCES AND GOALS. PLEASE RETURN BY FRIDAY. THANK YOU.
Grandparent/Artifact Day! We hope you can continue the conversation on how senior citizens contribute to our lives. Senior citizens are active members of society and play an important part in our family and community.
I hope each Grade 1 student has learned more about their grandparents through the Interview and discussions about the artifacts.
Music Monday : We had a successful day! WOW! What was your child's favorite musician? Why?
Can they recall all the instruments that were played? Would they consider playing an instrument (if they don't already)?
I love seeing kids make connections from school to the 'real world'.
Way to go Isabel!!!!
