Tomorrow morning we are having an 'internal lockdown'. We will review what this means and what we need to practice. This means that an announcement will come over the speaker system that says, " We have an internal lockdown'. Students will be asked to sit in our safe area of our class where there is a green sign with a lock on it that is posted in our class on the wall. We need to sit quietly in our room. My job is to close the classroom door and make sure it is locked.
If you feel your child may be worried about this, you may want to leave the discussion for school tomorrow.
Also, thank you to those parents who recorded the names of the people who live in your house (including pets). If you have not done so, please record in your child's agenda.
