This an excerpt from Andi (the Fish Creek Park instructor) regarding our students:
Your students were wonderful ambassadors of their school: polite, attentive and extremely enthusiastic! They were an excellent group to work with and I am thankful for all of the work you both put in to help the program run so smoothly. Our learning intentions for our trip was to experience an 'outdoor classroom'.
In Science, student should be able to identify the 5 senses and how they used (4 of) them today at the park.
As well, students should be able to talk about things they saw that were living, the park habitat, how living things adapt over the seasons (such as birds migrating), and be able to talk about plants and animals that were seen at the park.
