Expository Writing

We've already worked on telling sequenced information when we walked to Ashlyn's house using the language - first, next (then), finally (at last).
Today each child was expected to write these words on a sticky note. Ask your child if they were able to write each word (spelling was not expected - the concepts were).
Seeing that most students were able to recall these words, they used them in the steps to blowing a bubble.
First I got them 'hooked' with the idea that we were going to chew gum in school. Yes... we chewed gum and tried to blow a bubble.
