It should go something like this...We were using 7 basket balls in the Gym. 4 of them were deflated (ruined). So Mrs. Maze had to throw them in the garbage. How many balls were left?
7-4=3
As homework, tell more story problems at home.
Choose a number (under 10) and tell a story. Draw a picture to show the story. I would love to share some of the story problems at school.
